Job summary

Southern Arkansas University Tech invites applications for a nine-month faculty position in automated and robotic engineering. The successful candidate will teach a minimum of 15 semester hours each Fall and Spring and maintain office hours for student conferences.

Job description

This is an academic nine-month position with full benefits. This position requires a commitment to teaching in a dynamic community college setting and the ability to successfully interact and respond to the broad ranging needs of an academically and culturally diverse campus setting.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATION

S:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering Technology or related field.
  • Three years’ experience working with industrial robots, automated systems, PLC systems, and mechatronics.
  • Excellent communication skills, both oral and written.
  • Good command of the English language.
  • Background check required
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Teaching experience in secondary and/or higher education.
  • Industry experience and/or certifications in automated manufacturing or related fields.
