Mt. Hood Community College seeks qualified instructors for its dental hygiene program. The role focuses on delivering quality didactic and clinical instruction, supporting accreditation standards, and collaborating with program leadership to enhance student outcomes.
Instructors will participate in course development, maintain safety and PPE protocols, and may teach during evenings or summers as needed, with on-site classes and occasional off-site commitments as required.

Work is typically performed in a classroom environment, including clinical labs which provide patient care. Some work may be performed while sitting at a computer terminal. This is an on-site position. Any remote work requires prior approval and must comply with MHCC Remote Work policies and administrative regulations. Remote work must be within the states of Oregon or Washington.

Initial salary placement for Instructional Load Credit (ILC) Instructors will be based on applicable education and/or years of relevant full-time equivalent experience at the sole discretion of the College, per the guidelines in the Collective Bargaining Agreement and in accordance with all applicable state and federal laws. Initial salary placement for all other newly hired instructors will be at Level 1.
