Job summary

British Swim School is seeking a part-time Swim Instructor for weekends to teach water safety and swimming to children. You will create a safe, supportive, and fun learning environment while communicating progress to parents. This role emphasizes consistency, punctuality, and a strong commitment to child safety.

Training is provided and completion of training is required before teaching independently, with ongoing monthly training and opportunities for advancement within a growing company.

Swim Instructor (Part-Time, Weekends Required)

What This Job Really Requires

• Available consistently on Saturdays and/or Sundays (our busiest teaching days- this is not optional)


• Able to commit to a regular weekly schedule for at least 6 months


• Comfortable working in the water for up to 4 hours per shift


• Energetic, patient, and confident working with young children, including those who may be fearful, distracted, or upset


• Reliable and punctual- our families depend on you being there every scheduled shift

If you're looking for something flexible that you can easily adjust around other priorities, this role may not be the best fit.
