DESCRIPTION OF POSITION

The College of Extended Learning at Northeastern State University is seeking a full-time faculty to teach undergraduate and graduate level classes, online, day and/or evening classes in Criminal Justice at the Broken Arrow campus. Previous teaching experience preferred.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Teaching courses in Criminal Justice.
• Responsibilities also include student advising, university service, and scholarly contributions.

EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS

• Ph.D. in Criminal Justice, Criminology or related field is preferred.
• Master's degree required.
• ABD will be considered.
• Related experience will also be considered.

EXPERIENCE

• Prior teaching experience, with a preference for candidates with classroom and online teaching experience;
• Experience with various forms of academic technology;
• Experience with community outreach.
• Experience in scholarly research & writing; or a willingness to engage in academic scholarship;

Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis.

Annual salary $52,710.00 with excellent benefits, including generous leave time.
