Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree; no prior work experience required; relevant experience accepted in lieu of education.
• Experience with instructional design and online learning principles.
• Canvas or another learning management system.
• Video and audio production and editing.
• Graphic design and digital media production.
• Multimedia production studios and recording equipment.
• WordPress website development and maintenance.
• HTML and CSS.
• Web accessibility standards.
• Faculty consultation and support.
• Project management and production workflows.
• Emerging educational technologies and AI tools.
• Master's degree in instructional design, educational technology, learning design, or related field.

Responsabilités

• Design, develop, revise, and support online and hybrid courses in collaboration with faculty and instructional designers.
• Produce professional multimedia content including video, audio, graphics, animations, illustrations, infographics, and interactive learning materials.
• Lead multimedia projects from concept through production, editing, delivery, and maintenance.
• Manage the Great Valley multimedia production studio and equipment; support studio sessions.
• Develop graphics and visual assets for courses, websites, and digital initiatives.
• Manage WordPress websites; content, layout, accessibility, usability, troubleshooting.
• Develop learning content within Canvas and related educational technologies.
• Apply instructional design principles and online learning best practices to courses.
• Ensure digital materials meet accessibility standards and copyright/University requirements.
• Consult with faculty on multimedia and instructional technology; support other designers.
• Evaluate emerging technologies and production tools to improve teaching and content development.
• Maintain documentation and workflows for multimedia production and web content.
