General Dynamics Information Technology is seeking an Entry Level Instructional Systems Designer to support the development, organization, and delivery of training for customer personnel. Delivery methods may include classroom instruction, web-based training, focused briefings, multimedia presentations, or a combination of these approaches.
The candidate should have 1 year of Instructional System Design experience, familiarity with adult learning practices, and the ability to leverage multimedia
This entry -level Instructional Systems Designer position requires experience supporting the development, organization and delivery of training and/or educational programs for customer personnel. Delivery methods may include classroom instruction, web based training, focused briefings, multimedia presentation, or a combination of both.
The position will require experience in the methods used to develop and enhance instructional curriculum, as well as experience in adult learning practices. The candidate will maximize the use of multimedia and instructional technologies to coduct effective education and training.
Experience in various security disciplines such as insider threat, security processing, adjudications, information assurance and counterintelligence is a plus.
Experience: 1 year experience in Instructional System Design
Experience Desired: Use of E-learning development software
Security Clearance: TS/SCI (with Poly)
Education: Bachelor’s Degree or approximately 4 years’ of related work experience
Contributes to completion of specific training programs and projects.
Provides training solutions to a wide range of difficult problems.
Develops measurement tools to evaluate the effectiveness of instruction or training interventions.
Maintains current knowledge of relevant training and technology.
