Job summary

Devereux Advanced Behavioral Health seeks an Instructional Support Specialist for its Day Academy in Landenberg, PA. You will assist with academic, social, and behavioral needs, perform tutoring and one-on-one support, under the direction of teachers and administrators, to help students succeed.

The role runs Monday through Friday, 8am–4pm, year-round. Education requirements include a high school diploma, with preference for an associate degree or two years of post-secondary study.

Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma required. Associates Degree or completion of two years of post-secondary education from an accredited college or university preferred.
• Experience: Previous experience working in a special education or behavioral healthcare setting with students with severe/complex behavioral/emotional issues preferred.

You will work with other dedicated professionals who share your passion for helping individuals in need. This position will support teacher's direction by providing assistance with academic, social, and behavioral needs of assigned clients. You will assist in the implementation of a basic educational programming and performing duties as directed by the building administrator or classroom teacher inclusive of individual tutoring or one-on-one support for a student with special needs.

Compensation and Benefits

• Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8am-4pm (52 week year round position)
• Pay Rate: $17.50-$19.95/hr (based upon education and experience)
