Job summary

Qualifications

• 60 college credits or a passing Paraprofessional Praxis required.
• Ability to work productively in a collaborative setting.
• Bilingual skills preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist with individualized instruction.
• Work with small groups under supervision of the classroom teacher.
• Reinforce material initially introduced by the teacher.
• Complete data collection forms to monitor and support student progress.
• Assist students with projects, activities, crafts, and curriculum tasks.
• Assist with student supervision (e.g., playground, lunchroom, arrival/dismissal).
• Perform other appropriate duties as assigned by the classroom teacher or school administration.
