Job summary

The University of Wisconsin–Madison invites applications for an Instructional Administrator in the Consumer Science Department of SoHE. The role blends instruction, mentoring, and program development to advance the CBMS program and student success.

This 12-month, renewable teaching appointment requires teaching two 3-credit courses per fall and spring, plus one course in summer, with the remainder focused on curriculum design, data analysis, and program improvement across the department.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree required, preferably in Consumer Research, Data Science, Consumer Science, Business Administration, or related field.
• Experience teaching in higher education and ability to mentor students.

Responsibilities

• Supervise day-to-day activities of instructional support staff.
• Lead instructional design for classroom, online, and lab instruction.
• Provide classroom/online instruction including grading.
• Develop teaching techniques aligned with program goals.
• Assess learner performance and prepare improvement reports.
