Job summary

Pediatric Developmental Services (PDS) is seeking a full-time Instructional Facilitator to support classroom policies and reinforce teacher instruction within our programs. This role focuses on guiding students, distributing materials, and providing positive, age-appropriate support to learners and families.

The position requires ParaPro certification or eligibility to obtain one during onboarding, plus an AA or higher from an accredited university, which is considered reciprocal to

Responsibilities

• Support and maintain classroom policies
• Tutor individual students, reinforcing instruction as directed by the teacher
• Distribute and collect papers and supplies to support daily activities
• Provide students with clear examples, emotional support, and a friendly attitude
• Confer with teachers on programs and materials to meet student needs
• Participate in meetings and in-service training programs

Paraeducator Responsibilities:

• Support and maintain classroom policies.
• Tutor individual students, reinforcing instruction as directed by the teacher.
• Provide support to the teacher by distributing and collecting paper and supplies.
• Assist students by providing proper examples, emotional support, a friendly attitude and general guidance.
• Confer, as needed, with teachers concerning programs and materials to meet student needs.
• Participate in meetings and in-service training programs as assigned
