Job summary

Texas A&M Engineering Extension Service (TEEX) is seeking an Instructional Designer I to join the Curriculum Shared Services team in Bryan. You will develop online and face-to-face courses, work with subject matter experts, define learning objectives, and align content with performance outcomes to support emergency response and workforce training.

Bachelor's degree required; no experience needed with a degree, with possible equivalencies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required. No experience required with a bachelor’s degree in an applicable field.
• Equivalency: will consider an associate’s degree with two years of experience in training, curriculum development, and adult learning principles or a high school diploma or GED with four years of experience in training, curriculum development, and adult learning principles.

Responsibilities

• Develop online and face-to-face courses following established curriculum development processes.
• Collaborate with SMEs to identify training needs, learning objectives, and course content sequences.
• Ensure accessibility and alignment with course objectives, standards, and timelines.

Education

Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university

Associate’s degree with two years of experience in training, curriculum development, and adult learning principles

High school diploma or GED with four years of experience in training, curriculum development, and adult learning principles
