Job summary

Guidehouse is seeking an experienced eLearning Instructional Designer to lead a small team in creating engaging learning solutions, from compliance to leadership training. You will manage projects, contribute hands-on development, and drive delivery of elearning, live/virtual sessions, job aids and knowledge management with AI support.

The role requires 10+ years’ experience, a Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent), and expert skills in Articulate Rise 360, Synthesia, Camtasia, and ADDIE.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; four years additional experience may substitute for degree.
• 10+ years of professional experience in related areas.
• Expert development skills in Articulate Rise 360 with AI, Synthesia, and Camtasia.
• Deep expertise in ADDIE instructional design methodology.
• Ability to translate expertise into actionable feedback for team growth.
• Experience using AI Copilot tools to speed admin tasks and boost productivity.
• Executive presence to understand client needs and translate into training design; manage SME feedback.
• Strong project management to create timelines, communicate risk, and adapt to urgent priorities.
• Excellent organization for file management and audit reporting.
• readiness to show work samples.

What You Will Do

Reporting directly to the global leader of learning and development, you will lead three team members in end-to-end creation of engaging learning solutions for needs ranging from compliance needs to ways of working and leadership training. You will manage your time to manage team success and take on some development yourself. Solutions include elearning, live and virtual instructor-led training, job aids and knowledge management, and AI agents.

What You Will Need

• Bachelor’s Degree; Four (4) years additional professional experience may be substituted in lieu of degree.
• 10 or more years of professional experience in related areas.
• Expert development skills in Articulate Rise 360 with AI, Synthesia, and Camtasia.
• Deep expertise in ADDIE instructional design methodology
• Ability to communicate expertise into feedback that grows team skill
• Experience in efficient utilization of instructional design and Copilot AI tools to speed administrative tasks, boost productivity, and create engaging work products
• Executive presence and communication skills to understand client needs, translate into training program design, and manage feedback from subject matter experts with competing priorities for their time.
• Deep project management experience to create and manage project timelines, communicate risk, and react to urgent priorities with agility.
• Exceptional organizational skills for project file management to streamline periodic project updates and report accurately for data audits.
• Please be ready to show work samples.

The annual salary range for this position is $130,000.00-$216,000.00. Compensation decisions depend on a wide range of factors, including but not limited to skill sets, experience and training, security clearances, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs.
