Job summary

Holy Hill Area School District seeks a full-time Instructional Coach to advance student achievement across PreK-8. The ideal candidate will model effective instruction, analyze data, guide curriculum renewal, and support teachers through RtI and PLC processes.

You will collaborate with staff, parents, and administration to strengthen learning environments, drive professional development, and sustain high engagement in a values-driven culture.

Qualifications

  • 5 years of successful teaching experience.
  • Bachelor Degree: Elementary/Middle Education; Master’s preferred in leadership, literacy, or curriculum-related focus.
  • Wisconsin teaching license and eligibility to teach in district.

Responsibilities

  • Lead PLC collaboration to improve student outcomes across PreK–8.
  • Support RtI implementation with emphasis on Tier 1 instruction and targeted interventions.
  • Provide building-level leadership in the absence of a principal.
  • Align and renew curriculum with district core content and data-driven practice.
  • Facilitate and support district and school-level professional development.

Position Overview

The Holy Hill Area School District is seeking a full-time, dynamic, self-driven, and collaborative instructional coach, to support student and staff achievement and growth. The ideal candidate will cultivate supportive learning environments and challenging educational opportunities through strategic partnerships with parents, staff, and the community. As an Instructional Coach, you will work directly with teaching staff and administration to model lessons, analyze data, guide curriculum renewal, and implement research-based instructional practices across all PreK-8 content areas. As a district, we are heavily invested in the PLC and RtI at Work process to support professional growth and layers of instruction for all students to succeed at high levels.

Essential Job Duties/Responsibilities:

Instructional Leadership & Curricular Expertise

  • PLC Collaboration: Engage effectively with educator teams within a Professional Learning Community framework to continuously improve student outcomes.
  • Instructional Support: Assist educators in implementing district-approved RtI strategies, focusing heavily on high-leverage Tier 1 instruction, as well as targeted Tier 2 and Tier 3 interventions and extensions. Coach educators in coaching cycles based upon student centered coaching practices.
  • Building Support: Serve as a teacher-in-charge to support building needs in the absence of a building principal.
  • Curriculum Alignment: Maintain an active willingness to be trained in or demonstrate deep experience with the district's core curriculum to guide systemic curriculum renewal.
  • Professional Development: Participate in and support the facilitation of school- and district-level professional development opportunities.

Data & School Culture

  • Data Analysis: Utilize district assessment data to guide instructional decisions and provide meaningful feedback to teachers.
  • School Culture & Leadership: Actively participate in building a positive school environment through the District Guiding Coalition (DGC).
  • Behavioral & SEL Support: Support student behavioral and Social-Emotional Learning (SEL) needs by championing Character Strong instruction and restorative practices.
  • Relationship Building: Foster positive, encouraging relationships with students, staff, families, and the community to drive academic and emotional growth.

Candidate Requirements:

5 years successful teaching experience

Bachelor Degree: Elementary/Middle Education & Master’s Degree (Masters in leadership, literacy, or curriculum-related focus is preferred.)

Wisconsin Teaching license
