The Mennonite College of Nursing at Illinois State University invites qualifiedindividuals to apply fora full-time (40 hours per week), non-tenure track appointment to teach in-person classes at its Springfield, IL location, as an Instructional Assistant Professor. The individual selected will be expected to teach 24 credit-hour equivalents of courses per 9-month Academic Year.

Salary Rate / Pay Rate

$70,000-$75,000 per 9 month Academic Year

Required Qualifications
  • Masters of Science in Nursing completed by the start date of the appointment.
  • Previous teaching experience in a clinical, laboratory and/or classroom setting.
  • Must have licensure in Illinois by the start date of the appointment.
  • For teaching positions, state law mandates demonstrable oral proficiency in the English language as a requirement for this position.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Doctor of Nursing Practice completed by the start date of the appointment.
  • Experience in pediatric nursing, and/or teaching undergraduate patho-pharmacology, evidence-based practice.
