Job summary

Jordan School District is seeking qualified candidates who can complete required training and meet the minimum education options. The position offers Lane 3 Step 1 at $19.94 per hour and includes a path to move to lane 4 after completing additional training.

New hires must finish Basic Training within one week of hire and may access additional training through the Special Education department to advance. Training is ongoing and designed to support career growth within the district.

Must be willing to take some training classes

Applicant must be highly qualified. This would include one of the following:

• Associate's degree or higher from an accredited college/university; or
• 48 semester hours from an accredited college/university; or
• Pass the ParaPro Assessment

Must complete Basic Training (5 hours) provided by JSD Special Education Department. Training must be completed within one week of hire as a condition of employment.

Additional training is available through the Special Education department allowing the employee to increase to lane 4 upon completion.
