Job summary

Jackson Public Schools' North Jackson Elementary School in Jackson, Mississippi seeks an Instructional Assistant for Exceptional Ed. This role supports the classroom teacher, assists with implementing IEPs and organizes instructional activities to benefit students with disabilities.

The position begins immediately, with a starting wage of $14.00 per hour, non-exempt overtime, and 185 days of work per school year. Reports to the Principal and works under supervision of classroom staff.

• Assists teacher in implementing Individual Education Plans.
• Participates in professional development and scheduled meetings.
• Performs other related duties as requested or assigned.
