Job summary

East Noble School Corporation is hiring an Instructional Assistant for East Noble Middle School. The position is 7 hours per day, Monday to Friday when school is in session, with a starting wage of $16.69 per hour and benefits including medical, dental, and vision insurance.

Ideal candidates will support English Language Learners; fluency in Spanish is preferred but not required. Requires at least 60 college credits, an associate degree, paraprofessional certification, or willingness to pass the

• Attends all required training sessions and applies training in the classroom.
• Other duties as assigned by building administrator.
• Works with students one-on-one, in small groups, or in larger groups as needed.
• Assists with student documentation and supervises students in assigned areas.
• Communicates effectively with students and staff; participates in team planning sessions.

East Noble Middle School, 7 Hours Per Day, M-F when school is in session.

Position to start as soon as possible

Starting wage for this classroom assignment, $16.69 per hour, annualized salary.

*This general education IA will be working with English Language Learners, fluency in Spanish is not required but preferred.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Attends all required training sessions and applies training within the classroom
• Other duties as assigned by building administrator

Classroom Instruction:

• Works with students one-on-one, in small groups, large groups or other
• Assists with student documentation
• Supervises students in all assigned areas
• Communicates effectively and regularly with students and staff
• Participates in team planning sessions

Professionalism:

• Maintains confidentiality of all student information
• Follows East Noble policies and procedures
• Works cooperatively with teacher(s) and other staff

Candidate must have one of the following:

• Minimum of 60 college credits
• Associate's Degree
• Paraprofessional certification
• Or be willing to take and pass Paraprofessional certification test
