Job summary

Pasco County Schools Gulf Trace Elementary in Holiday, Florida is seeking an Instructional Assistant to support teachers and students within a well-organized classroom, starting immediately. You will assist with instructional activities and resources under the supervision of a Highly Qualified Teacher.

The position requires an Associate degree or 60 college hours (or a passing ParaPro score of 457), and you must complete required trainings and pass background screening as part of the district's

Qualifications

JOB SUMMARY

Responsible for assisting teacher(s) in providing a well-organized, smoothly functioning educational environment in which students can take full advantage of the instructional program and available resources, under the direct supervision of a Highly Qualified Teacher.

REQUIRED EDUCATION, TRAINING & EXPERIENCE

• Associate Degree, completion of 60 semester hours of college or passing score of 457 on the ParaPro Test
• All employees must satisfactorily complete any required training. All employees must meet all mandated federal and state health requirements
