Job summary

The Joshua School in Englewood, CO seeks Instructional Assistants to support students with developmental disabilities across academic, vocational, social, and life skills.

You'll implement individualized programming, collect data, and participate in assessments and home visits while collaborating with staff to foster growth in a mission-driven environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• One year experience with individuals with developmental disabilities preferred.
• Valid Colorado Driver's License.
• Basic knowledge of Applied Behavior Analysis preferred.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with classroom staff and specialists to implement student programs.

• Attend clinical meetings, staff trainings, and home visits.

• Participate in crisis intervention and de-escalation strategies (CALM).
• Ensure compliance with school, DHS, and CDE policies.

Key Responsibilities

Skills & Abilities

• Intermediate to advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office, Google Suite, and Excel
• Ability to interpret data, solve problems, and communicate effectively
• Comfortable working in active environments (e.g., swimming, skiing, camp outings)
• Able to lift/carry up to 150 lbs with assistance and engage in physical activities
