Job summary

LifeWorks Schools in Doylestown, PA is seeking an energetic Instructional Assistant to support our ASD Program for the 2026-2027 academic year. The role focuses on classroom management, individual and small-group support, and reinforcing material under teacher guidance.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 2 years related college course work or Associate Degree.
  • Prior experience working with adolescents with behavioral health challenges within a school setting is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

  • Provide classroom management assistance to the teacher when working with students individually and with the entire class.
  • Reinforce material already introduced by the teacher to the class.
  • Provide educational assistance to students on a one-to-one basis.
  • Completes tasks assigned by teacher pertaining to classroom environment, educational materials, and other operational functions in the classroom (e.g., grading papers, researching materials, phone calls, point sheet tabulation).

We are seeking an energetic, collaborative, and experienced Instructional Assistant to support our ASD Program at our Lifeworks School in Doylestown, PA for the 2026-2027 Academic School Year.

The LifeWorks Schools are licensed specialty therapeutic day schools for students in middle and high school effected by social, emotional, or behavioral health challenges. LifeWorks comprehensive educational curriculum is individualized and designed to actively engage each student throughout the day to achieve positive, pro-social behavioral and educational outcomes. Summary Of Responsibilities
