Qualifications

• Completion of an associate degree or 48 semester hours of college or a passing score on the Paraprofessional Assessment Exam.
• Candidates should possess excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to learn to operate and maintain a wide variety of instructional equipment.
• Candidates should possess excellent reading, writing, and computation skills.
• Demonstrated personal characteristics necessary for working effectively with students, teachers, and parents.
• Ability to be dependable and punctual.
• Have experience in fostering an inclusive learning environment.
