Job summary

Neshaminy School District in Langhorne, PA is hiring Instructional Aides for the 26/27 school year. Pay ranges from $21.49 to $22.20 per hour. The role supports students with special needs and assists classroom teachers to promote academic and personal growth.

Responsibilities include reinforcing instruction, supervising students, assisting with materials, and attending to students' physical, personal, academic and emotional needs. Clearances are required for employment with ESS.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Clearances required: Act 24, Act 34, Act 114, Act 151, Act 168.
• Tuberculosis test/physical required.

Responsibilities

• Provide instructional reinforcement for individual students or small groups.
• Assist teacher with classroom management and general supervision of the class.
• Assist with administrative duties such as setting up equipment and preparing materials.
• Supervise students in the cafeteria, schoolyard, specials, hallways, on field trips, and/or during before and after school programs.
• Attend to students' physical, personal, academic, and emotional needs.
• Support students with special needs by following provisions specified in their IEPs/504 Plans.
• Perform other duties as directed by the classroom teacher and school administration.
