Key duties include assisting with lessons, preparing activities, supervising events, performing clerical tasks, and supporting classroom technology while upholding the school's mission and policies. Strong communication and organizational skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Associates degree, two years of college coursework, or paraprofessional exam completed.
• Proficiency in MS Office.
• Successful completion of BCI/FBI background check.
• Ability to meet educational standards and deadlines.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to lift 25–40 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Support lessons taught by the teacher to individual students or groups.
• Assist with planning classroom activities and support teacher in student/parent relations.
• Assist with school activities such as events, assemblies, field trips, and chaperoning.
• Perform clerical duties including grading papers and making copies.
• Assist the Teacher in the use of classroom technology.
• Help maintain cleanliness of classroom, lunchroom, and other areas.
• Adhere to the school’s philosophy and mission in all activities.
• Take on additional duties as assigned.
