Description:

The district is seeking a dedicated Instructional Aide to support students with diverse needs. This role requires adaptability, strong organizational skills, and a positive attitude to assist in educational and personal development.

Reports to:

District Supervisor of World Languages and ML and/or BuildingPrincipal

Location:

Indian Hills High School

Responsibilities:

• In coordination with teachers, adapt to student needs, support diverse learners, maintain punctuality, and complete tasks with precision.
• Provide direct student support, prepare materials, and assist with educational technology such as Schoology, Genesis, Google Classroom.
• Track assignments for students as necessary; assist with classroom assignments
• Assist with personal needs, redirect focus, implement behavior plans as necessary, ensure safety of students and materials, and adapt to varying assignments.
• Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

• High school diploma required; associate's/bachelor's in education preferred.
• Experience with diverse student needs, desirable.
• Strong organizational/communication skills.
• Focus for this assignment is to work with English Language Learners
• Spanish speaking preferred.

Compensation:

Salary aligns with the current RIHEA Agreement, ranging from $34,136 to $36,686 annually. Comprehensive contributory medical and prescription benefits provided.
