Position Overview

Institutional Investor Liaisons manage relationships with institutional investors by coordinating communication, reporting, and engagement across investment, sales, and investor relations teams. The role blends capital markets knowledge, client service, and strategic communication to support fundraising, retention, and transparency.

These roles often involve close collaboration with portfolio managers, investor relations, capital markets teams, and senior leadership.

Key Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary point of contact for institutional investors and allocators
• Coordinate investor communications, updates, and meeting logistics
• Support fundraising and capital raising initiatives through investor engagement
• Prepare and distribute investor reports, performance updates, and market commentary
• Track investor inquiries, feedback, and relationship activity
• Collaborate with portfolio managers to translate investment performance into client-facing materials
• Maintain investor databases and CRM systems
• Assist with investor meetings, roadshows, conferences, and due diligence requests
• Ensure timely, accurate, and compliant investor communications
• Monitor institutional investor trends, preferences, and market sentiment

Preferred Qualifications
