Job summary

FASTSIGNS International. Inc. in Dallas area seeks a dependable, mechanically inclined installer to build and install custom signs and graphics. You’ll travel to customer locations and work in a production shop, applying your hands-on skills daily.

We provide paid training; experience in sign industry is not required. You’ll develop skills in installation, fabrication, production, and graphics with an experienced team.

Qualifications

• Experience in construction, remodeling, automotive work, maintenance, or related hands-on trades.
• Valid driver's license required.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs and work indoors/outdoors.
• Willingness to learn and follow installation instructions.

Responsibilities

• Install signs, wall graphics, banners, and other visual products.
• Apply vinyl graphics to vehicles, windows, and surfaces.
• Use hand and power tools, ladders, and basic installation equipment.
• Measure, drill, mount, assemble, and install finished products.
• Cut and work with aluminum, plastic, and wood materials.
• Laminate, trim, mount, and finish printed graphics.
• Load and unload materials and finished signs.
• Travel locally to customer locations for installations.

We’re looking for a dependable, mechanically inclined person who enjoys working with their hands, using tools, building things, and seeing a finished project at the end of the day.

Sign industry experience is NOT required. We provide paid training.

Experience in construction, remodeling, automotive work, maintenance, electrical/low-voltage, warehouse operations, manufacturing, fabrication, graphics, vehicle wraps, or other hands‑on trades can translate well to this position.

This is not a desk job. Some days you’ll be installing signs and graphics at customer locations around the Dallas area. Other days you’ll be working in our production shop building, assembling, and finishing custom signs and graphics.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

• Install signs, wall graphics, window graphics, banners, and other visual products
• Apply vinyl graphics to vehicles, windows, walls, and other surfaces
• Use hand tools, power tools, ladders, and basic installation equipment
• Measure, drill, mount, assemble, and install finished products
• Cut and work with materials including aluminum, plastic, and wood
• Laminate, trim, mount, and finish printed graphics
• Load and unload materials and finished signs
• Help keep the production and installation areas organized
• Travel locally to customer locations for installations

YOU MAY BE A GOOD FIT IF YOU HAVE EXPERIENCE WITH

• General maintenance or handyman work
• Automotive or mechanical work
• Manufacturing or fabrication
• Warehouse or assembly work
• Electrical or low-voltage installation
• Carpentry or cabinet installation
• Window tint, vehicle wraps, vinyl, or graphics
• Other jobs requiring tools, measurements, and hands‑on problem solving

You do not need experience in all of these areas. We’re primarily looking for someone dependable who has good mechanical aptitude and is willing to learn.

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

• Valid driver's license required
• Comfortable using basic hand and power tools
• Able to accurately use a tape measure and follow installation instructions
• Comfortable working on ladders and working both indoors and outdoors
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs periodically
• Able to stand and work on your feet for extended periods
• Reliable attendance and punctuality
• Attention to detail and pride in doing quality work
• Willingness to learn new skills and take direction
• English/Spanish bilingual skills are a plus, but not required

SCHEDULE

Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM

Overtime opportunities may be available depending on workload.

You'll learn skills in sign installation, vinyl application, fabrication, production, and graphics while working with an experienced team.
