Job summary

Service Experts Heating & Air Conditioning is seeking an HVAC Installer to complete residential and light commercial installations, supervise helpers, and ensure customer satisfaction. You will install heating, cooling, ventilation, and related equipment, perform start-ups, and engage customers to promote services.

You will handle ductwork, ensure safety standards, and maintain equipment and paperwork with professionalism.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED required, plus HVAC training and 1+ year experience.
  • EPA and safety certifications required.
  • Valid licensing/certifications as required by local laws.

Responsibilities

  • Install HVAC equipment and accessories in customers' homes as directed.
  • Supervise Install Helpers to ensure quality work.
  • Communicate with customers to answer questions and resolve problems.
  • Promote products and services to customers.
  • Perform start-ups and basic diagnostics on systems.
  • Design, fabricate, and install ducts and fittings as needed.
  • Keep installations vehicles clean and stocked; maintain safety standards.
  • Complete paperwork accurately and timely; collect payments when applicable.

Welcome!*** We are currently offering a sign on bonus of up to $2,000 for the right candidate! ***Responsible for the complete and satisfactory installation of residential and/or light commercial HVAC equipment and accessories. Oversees the work of Install Helpers to ensure work is performed correctly. Communicates with customer to answer questions, resolves problems, and ensures complete customer satisfaction. Promotes products and services to customer. Works under the direction of the Field Supervisor or General Manager.Responsibilities:Works under minimal supervision to install HVAC equipment and accessories in the customer’s homeInstalls heating, air conditioning, ventilation, and refrigeration equipment, as well as accessories, in accordance with company requirements and manufacture specifications. As needed, performs limited diagnostics.Designs, fabricates, and installs various ducts and duct fittings as requiredPerforms start-ups on air conditioning and heating systems and other componentsDelivers excellent customer service and sustains high levels of customer satisfactionPromotes products and services to the customer. Calls Sales and Service Coordinator with specifics on replacement product sales leads generated from customer service visit.Responsible for delivery and removal of equipment needed to complete the installation workEnsures company property, vehicles, and tools are being properly used, maintained, and accounted forCompletes all paperwork in a neat, accurate, thorough, and timely manner.
