Job summary

Groundworks in New Haven, CT is seeking an Installer to travel to residential or commercial sites and install foundation and water management solutions. You will troubleshoot, test equipment, and clean up after projects, contributing to safe, durable outcomes for customers.

The role involves heavy lifting, site prep, and following strict safety and quality standards while collaborating with teams and providing reliable service.

Qualifications

• Experience in the construction industry is required.
• Must have a valid, non‑restrictive driver’s license.
• Ability to lift heavy objects up to 50 lbs.
• Knowledge of installation tools and safety practices.

Responsibilities

• Perform general construction labor tasks including digging, back‑filling trenches, and site clean‑up.
• Assist with the installation of products and services under supervision.
• Load, carry, and deliver heavy materials (up to 50 lbs) to and from job sites.
• Enter confined spaces such as crawl spaces and basements to perform repairs.
• Work outdoors in various weather conditions while maintaining safety standards.
• Follow instructions closely and adhere to company policies, including safety and workplace conduct.
• Foster teamwork by building positive relationships and supporting team goals.
• Maintain professionalism, integrity, and uphold the company’s reputation.
• Assist with additional tasks as assigned by supervisors to ensure project success.
• It is an essential function of this job that the employee regularly and reliably reports to work on time each working day.
