Job description

The Synthetic Turf Field Installer is responsible for performing a variety of physical labor tasks related to the installation of synthetic turf fields under the direction of a Site Superintendent/Foreman. This role involves hands‑on work, precision cutting, and a strong attention to detail, and requires regular overnight travel to job sites.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in field setup upon arrival at the job site.
• Accurately handle and position aluminum stencils for inlaid field markings.
• Operate straight edges and tools used in turf alignment and installation.
• Cut turf materials precisely using scissors and razor knives.
• Install field markings and logos by embedding them into hot glue.
• Inspect turf seams to ensure high‑quality bonding and alignment.
• Maintain a clean and organized job site throughout the project.
• Support the final job site walk‑through to ensure installation quality.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by the supervisor or project manager.
• Overnight travel 75% of the year.

Additional Duties and Expectations

• Follow all company safety protocols and report any unsafe conditions to the supervisor or Human Resources.
• Collaborate with team members to support overall project goals.
• Participate in cross‑functional duties and provide support to colleagues when needed.

Education & Experience

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Previous experience in construction or field installation is preferred but not required.

Additional Requirements

• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Must be able to obtain a DOT Medical Examiner’s Certificate.
• Clean criminal background required.
• Must pass pre‑employment and random drug screenings.
• Strong work ethic, punctuality, and willingness to travel frequently.
