Tarkett Sports is seeking a Synthetic Turf Field Installer to perform hands-on turf installation tasks and follow precise cutting and placement procedures at various job sites. The role requires overnight travel and adherence to safety protocols.

Responsibilities include setting up fields, handling stencils, and bonding turf seams, while maintaining site cleanliness and supporting final project walkthroughs. Must be 21+, with a valid DOT certificate and ability to travel up to 75%.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• DOT Medical Examiner's Certificate required.
• Clean criminal background.
• Must pass pre-employment and random drug screenings.
• Must be at least 21 years old and able to travel 75% of the year.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a clean and organized job site throughout the project.
• Support the final job site walk-through to ensure installation quality.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by the supervisor or project manager.

The Synthetic Turf Field Installer is responsible for performing a variety of physical labor tasks related to the installation of synthetic turf fields under the direction of a Site Superintendent/Foreman. This role involves hands‑on work, precision cutting, and attention to detail, and requires regular overnight travel to job sites.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Assist in field setup upon arrival at the job site

• Accurately handle and position aluminum stencils for inlaid field markings

• Operate straight edges and tools used in turf alignment and installation

• Cut turf materials precisely using scissors and razor knives

ADDITIONAL DUTIES AND EXPECTATIONS

• Follow all company safety protocols and report any unsafe conditions to the supervisor or Human Resources

• Collaborate with team members to support overall project goals

• Participate in cross-functional duties and provide support to colleagues when needed

Education & Experience:

• High school diploma or GED required

• Previous experience in construction or field installation is preferred but not required

Additional Requirements:

• Must be at least 21 years of age

• Must be able to obtain a DOT Medical Examiner's Certificate

• Clean criminal background required

• Must pass pre-employment and random drug screenings
