Job summary

Express Employment Professionals - Cincinnati East in Red Oak, TX is seeking a hands-on truck equipment assembler to install service bodies, platforms, hoists, and hydraulic systems on commercial trucks. Training is available for candidates with carpentry, electrical, basic welding, or plumbing backgrounds. Schedule is Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM to 4:30 PM.

Pay is $20 per hour. A valid driver’s license is required, and you must be able to read schematics and lift 50–75 lbs.

Qualifications

• Must provide own basic hand tools (socket set, screwdriver).

• Positive attitude and willingness to learn.

Join a growing truck equipment manufacturing team in Red Oak, TX installing service bodies, platforms, hoists, and hydraulic systems on commercial trucks. Willing to train the right candidate with a background in carpentry, electrical, basic welding, or plumbing.

Schedule: Monday-Friday, 7:00 AM - 4:30 PM

What You'll Do:

1. Install service bodies, bed liners, platforms, dumps, van packages, and hoists
2. Work with hydraulics, 12V electrical systems, and electrical components/circuits
3. Read and interpret schematics, diagrams, and blueprints
4. Follow work instructions, gather materials, build equipment, and test performance before final product audit

What We're Looking For:

1. Valid driver's license required
2. Background in carpentry, electrical, basic welding, or plumbing a plus - willing to train
3. Ability to read schematics, diagrams, and blueprints
4. Able to provide own basic hand tools (socket set, screwdriver)
5. Ability to lift/move up to 50-75 lbs and stand, bend, twist, and stoop up to 8 hours or more per shift
6. GED or HS Diploma required
7. Positive attitude and willing to learn

Preferred: Experience with automotive electrical/hydraulic systems, assembly environment, truck equipment industry, MIG/TIG welding, or metal fabrication

Pay: $20/hr
