Job description

Installer – Watertown, SD

Compensation: $22.00–$23.50 per hour. Sign‑on bonus of $1,000 – $500 paid at 6 months, $500 paid at 1 year. Must be an active employee at the time of payout to receive the bonus.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret blueprints and schematics.
• Work from drawings, sketches, templates, and patterns.
• Maintain work area in a clean, neat, and orderly manner.
• Install unit vehicle components and accessories.
• Set up jigs and fixtures.
• Perform basic computer usage.
• Adhere to safety policies and procedures.
• Comply with quality standards by preventing errors and meeting zero defect requirements.
• Follow and promote The Terex Way values.
• Function as a team member and contribute to group goals while maintaining a positive attitude.
• Work overtime as required.
• Perform other job functions as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma and/or equivalent experience.
• Physical ability to lift up to 40 lbs. and 40–100 lbs. with assistance or equipment.
• Ability to work under, on, and around truck chassis and bodies.
• 1–3 years of manufacturing experience.
• Experience with hydraulics, electrical, and fabrication.
• Capability to operate a variety of hand and power tools.
• Problem‑solving ability.
• Understanding and following verbal and written instructions.
• Prior experience in mechanical, construction, or carpentry.
