Job summary

McCollister’s Fitness Systems is seeking a motivated team member to load, transport, and install fitness equipment at client sites. You will work as part of the installation crew to ensure safe delivery and precise assembly of equipment for satisfied customers.

Ideal candidates have at least 1 year in fitness equipment, a clean driving record, and the ability to lift 75 lbs. You’ll use a tablet and basic software, and wear company attire. A strong work ethic and teamwork are essential.

Qualifications

• One year of experience with fitness equipment preferred.
• Must have clean, safe driving record.
• Able to lift up to 75 lbs.
• Able to communicate effectively at all levels of the organization.
• Be organized and able to work both in teams and autonomously.
• Must wear McCollister’s Fitness shirts and steel-toe boots as provided/purchased.

Responsibilities

• Assist with loading of trucks with fitness equipment from the warehouse.
• Unload equipment at client facility and deliver into the client site.
• As part of the installation team, assemble and install equipment onsite.
• Assist with removal of equipment to return to the warehouse.
• Support driver with basic paperwork and inventory tasks (BOL).
• Prepare truck end-of-day: remove trash, stow equipment, and secure materials.
• Maintain tools, phones, and company-issued devices.
• Ensure safety considerations are followed on every job.

Job description

Plan and execute assigned orders to exceed customer expectations, ensure customer satisfaction, and maintain profitability for McCollister’s and its members. Works as part of a McCollister’s Fitness Systems installation team to deliver and install fitness equipment.

Works as part of the McCollister’s Fitness systems installation team to deliver and install fitness equipment. These services may be but are not limited to servicing installation and extractions for the McCollister Fitness client base.

Responsibilities

• Assists with loading of trucks with fitness equipment from our warehouse.
• Unloads the truck of fitness equipment and delivers into the client facility.
• As part of the installation team, puts together and installs equipment onsite.
• Assists the removal of equipment from the client location that is to be returned to our warehouse.
• Assists driver with filling out BOL and inventory of return equipment.
• Removes packaging and dunnage from client location and puts on truck neatly.
• Folds blankets and puts away other equipment (straps, tools, etc.) on the truck when job is completed. This is to be done at the end of each day.
• Assist driver going to and from client locations with directions, paperwork, phone calls to the client location or calls to the McCollister Fitness planner with updates.
• Assist driver with parking, backing in or out at the client location.
• Along with the driver, ensures all safety considerations have been considered.
• Upon arrival or return to MCC warehouse, assist the driver with removal of all trash and dunnage which includes putting cardboard into the compactor. Folds blankets and puts away tools, straps, and other installation equipment.
• Responsible for maintaining tools, phones, cards provided by McCollister’s.

Education

• Equivalent combination of education and experience.

Experience

• A minimum 1 years’ experience working with fitness equipment desired
• Experience working in fitness
• Mechanically inclined
• Clean, safe driving record
• Ability to lift 75 lbs
• Competent computer and ipad skills
• Candidate must be able to communicate effectively at all levels of the organization
• Must be organized
• Proven track record of working in a team environment and autonomously
• Outfitted in McCollister’s Fitness shirts which are provided by the employer and black shorts or pants which are to be purchased by the employee
• Must have boots or work shoes with steel toe
• Act professionally at all times, especially with customers at a client location
