Job summary

US0670 Edward Don is seeking an Installer to install foodservice equipment per project specifications in a safe and timely manner. You will handle complete delivery, uncrating, and setting in place of equipment, coordinating with plumbers, electricians and other trades to resolve issues and meet the install bid.

You must lift up to 75 lbs, read specs/blueprints, and work with hand/power tools. Proficiency in Excel/Word, strong communication, multitasking, and a valid driver’s license with travel

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent and related experience or schooling in general construction and use of hand/power tools.
• Intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Excel & Word; strong analytical/organizational skills and problem-solving ability.
• Must have a valid Driver’s License, reliable transportation and driving record meeting insurability standards; travel for overnight stays.

SUMMARY

The Installer is responsible for the installation of foodservice equipment in accordance with the project specifications in a safe and timely manner. Responsible for complete delivery, uncrating, and setting in place of foodservice equipment. Collaborate with plumbers/electricians and all mechanical trades to resolve all issues and stay within the timeframe and install bid. Ability to lift up to 75 lbs. Install equipment using hand or power tools
Examine and test equipment for defects to ensure proper functioning. Follow all safety guidelines, maintaining a clean work area and machines/tools organized.
Perform other related duties as required and assigned.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES

Required: High School diploma or equivalent and experience or schooling on general construction and the use of hand and power tools as well as the ability to read and understand specifications and blueprints. intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Office products (specifically Excel & Word), strong analytical, organizational skills and the ability to problem solve, multitask, prioritize and work independently. Excellent communication, time management and customer service skills. Must have a valid Driver’s License , reliable transportation and driving record that meets company insurability standards. Must be able to travel for overnight stays. Ability to lift up to 75 lbs.

Preferred: Successful completion of an accredited Technical/Trade School and forklift certification.
