Job summary

Sunrun Installation Services, Inc. seeks an Installer to join a solar installation construction team. You will work with a Foreperson and Lead Installer to complete residential solar projects, focusing on safety, quality, and efficiency.

Responsibilities include assembling solar modules, racking, and electrical components, applying weather sealing, and maintaining a clean, safe job site. Sunrun offers performance-based growth, full benefits, and a tuition reimbursement program.

Qualifications

  • Previous solar, construction or military experience preferred but not required.
  • Adheres to company safety policies and procedures including ability to identify and report safety hazards, and the ability to encourage others to work safely.
  • Ability to meet due dates, metrics and contribute as a strong teammate in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure personal, crew and job site safety at all times and participate in training sessions on new products, installation methodology and safety.
  • Review inventory at loading dock to ensure assigned crew truck is stocked adequately.
  • Complete layout and assemble solar modules, the racking, mechanical and structural mounts, electrical equipment and tools as specified in the project plan.
  • Apply weather sealing to roofing structure, building or support mechanisms.
  • Perform project clean up including client site and installation vehicle to ensure a clean and orderly job site and work environment.
