Job summary

ProSlide Technology is seeking experienced Installers to manage on-site installation of water rides. The role involves hands-on assembly with fiberglass, steel, and wood, caulking, bolting, welding, and electrical touchpoints under engineering drawings.

The position requires 8–12 week deployments, 95% travel, a valid passport, OSHA 10/30 certification, and 2–5 years of construction experience. Expect long weeks (60 hours) and teamwork in a demanding outdoor setting.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Unload and position trucks on-site.
• Uncrating and preparing parts for assembly.
• Preassemble fiberglass flume sections by caulking and bolting per assembly manual.
• Preassemble and erect ride support sections including steel columns and radial arms.
• Weld connection of steel yoke plates to arms and embedment plates.
• Build water ride towers following engineering drawings.
• Paint steel columns, towers and platforms.
• Install conveyors and connect control panels and sensors.
• Rigging and moving heavy equipment safely.
• Repair and touch up fiberglass, gel coat and paint as needed.
• Clean interior and exterior of the slide and wash for public use.
• Participate in safety training, talks and inspections.

Job description

Installers will be deployed to customer sites to manage and complete our product installation process. Deployments will be up to 8-12 weeks in duration. The Installer is responsible for being the hands‑on team member to pre‑assembly, build and touch up water rides. You will be working with fiberglass, steel, wood and many other materials in this jack‑of‑all‑trades role. Come learn a niche trade and expand your skill set!

Your Challenge

• On-site unloading and positioning of trucks
• Uncrating and preparing parts to be built.
• Preassemble and build all fiberglass flume sections by caulking and bolting parts together following an assembly manual
• Preassemble and erect all ride support sections including steel columns, radial arms and yokes on foundations and concrete piers.
• Connecting of steel yoke plates to radial arms/embedment plates by welding the connection
• Build the water ride tower in accordance of engineering drawings
• Painting of steel columns, towers and start platforms
• Build and connect conveyor systems when applicable; including installation of conveyor control panel, sensors and final termination of all low voltage connections at each devise
• Moving light equipment into position such as rigging, cribbing and scaffolding
• Problem solve any technical issues that work
• Repairing the water ride products from any quality defects or damages including fiberglass repairs, gel coat repairs, paint touch ups.
• Cleaning of the interior and exterior of the slide. Wash and wax the interior of the slide for public use.
• Participate in safety requirements, including training, safety talks, and equipment inspections
• Must follow all health and safety rules and regulations

What You Bring To The Role

• Must be able to be deployed 8-12 weeks out of country
• Must have a valid Passport
• Must have a valid OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 Certificate
• 2-5 year of experience in construction activities being hands on
• Experience working with hand and power tools
• Manlift and telehandler experience is an asset
• Experience with hoisting and rigging is an asset
• Willingness to work as part of a team
• Basic computer skills are required
• Must have a valid driver’s license
• No travel location restrictions

Working Conditions

• 95% Travel
• On-site work
• This role is typically 60 hours a week, 6 days a week, in a hands‑on trades role.
