Tarkett Sports is seeking a Turf Field Installer to perform hands-on turf installation tasks, including precise cutting, marking, and logo embedding under supervision. This role requires frequent travel to job sites and strict safety adherence.

Ideal candidates will have a high school diploma or GED, a willingness to travel, and the ability to obtain a DOT Medical Examiner's Certificate. A clean background and drug screenings are required as part of the hiring process.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Construction or field installation experience is preferred but not required.
• Must be at least 21 years old and able to obtain a DOT Medical Examiner's Certificate.
• Clean criminal background; must pass pre-employment and random drug screenings.
• Strong work ethic, punctuality, and willingness to travel frequently.

Responsibilities

• Operate straight edges and tools used in turf alignment and installation.
• Cut turf materials precisely using scissors and razor knives.
• Install field markings and logos by embedding them into hot glue.
• Inspect turf seams to ensure high-quality bonding and alignment.
• Maintain a clean and organized job site throughout the project.
• Support the final job site walk-through to ensure installation quality.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by the supervisor or project manager.

The Turf Field Installer is responsible for performing a variety of physical labor tasks related to the installation of synthetic turf fields under the direction of a Site Superintendent/Foreman. This role involves hands-on work, precision cutting, and attention to detail, and requires regular overnight travel to job sites.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Assist in field setup upon arrival at the job site
• Accurately handle and position aluminum stencils for inlaid field markings
• Operate straight edges and tools used in turf alignment and installation
• Cut turf materials precisely using scissors and razor knives
• Install field markings and logos by embedding them into hot glue
• Inspect turf seams to ensure high-quality bonding and alignment
• Maintain a clean and organized job site throughout the project
• Support the final job site walk-through to ensure installation quality

ADDITIONAL DUTIES AND EXPECTATIONS

• Follow all company safety protocols and report any unsafe conditions to the supervisor or Human Resources
• Collaborate with team members to support overall project goals
• Participate in cross-functional duties and provide support to colleagues when needed

Education & Experience:
