Job summary

Acorn Stairlifts Inc. in Minneapolis, MN is seeking a Regular Full-Time Installer to safely install, test, and adjust stairlift systems in customers' homes, ensuring full operation before leaving.

Qualifications

• Strong mechanical aptitude
• Experience in construction, carpentry, remodeling, automotive, HVAC, appliance installation, maintenance, or related trades preferred.
• Comfortable using hand and power tools with a strong commitment to quality workmanship.
• Self-motivated with ability to manage a daily schedule independently; valid driver’s license with a good driving record required.

Responsibilities

• Safely and efficiently install, assemble, adjust, and test Acorn stairlift systems in customers’ homes according to company standards.
• Identify and communicate site conditions or installation challenges to the Operations Team and ensure systems are fully operational before leaving.
• Demonstrate stairlift operation to customers and provide a professional experience while representing Acorn Stairlifts with integrity and respect.
• Follow all company safety procedures and maintain a clean, organized work environment.
• Maintain an organized company vehicle and properly manage inventory, tools, and installation materials.

What You'll Do

What We're Looking For
