An Installer is responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining various types of signs and graphic displays in commercial, industrial, and public spaces. The role requires technical skill, physical ability, and strong attention to safety, ensuring quality installation and customer satisfaction.
The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:
Install, maintain, and repair signs, displays, and related structures.
Operate equipment such as ladders, scaffolding, aerial lifts, forklifts, and light power tools.
Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and work orders.
Ensure compliance with OSHA standards and company safety guidelines.
Communicate regularly with clients regarding installation status and needs.
Work both independently and in a team to complete projects on time.
Maintain tools, equipment, and vehicles in safe working condition.
Perform troubleshooting and problem-solving for installation issues.
Basic knowledge of hand and power tools.
Understanding of electrical wiring and lighting (preferred for illuminated signs).
Ability to read and follow blueprints or technical drawings.
Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
Good communication and teamwork abilities.
Willingness to learn and complete on-the-job training.
Compliance with company and industry safety regulations.
Must be at least 18 years old.
High school diploma or GED is required.
Valid driver’s license with clean driving record.
Commercial Driver's License (CDL) is preferred.
OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification, preferred or willingness to become certified.
Forklift, MEWP, and Bucket Truck certifications, preferred.
0–2 years of applicable experience.

Requires up to 95% travel to client sites and project locations.
Travel may involve overnight stays up to 75% of the time.
Must be willing and able to spend extended periods away from primary work location.
