Job summary

Southwest Glass of Houston is seeking an Installer to join our team. The role involves cutting, measuring, and installing glass and mirrors in residential and commercial settings, both on-site and in-shop. Precise measurements are required for fabrication at our facility.

A high school diploma or GED is required; glass experience is a plus. Valid driver’s license is a plus. We offer full-time work with benefits; background check and drug test may be required.

Qualifications

• Glass installation experience preferred.
• Experience with glass cutting, measuring, and installation in residential and commercial settings.

Responsibilities

• Cut glass on-site and in shop to specified sizes.
• Install glass and mirrors in residential and commercial units.
• Measure accurately for fabrication and window replacement.
• Perform on-site glass installations and related finishing (silicone, beading).
• Repair or replacement services as needed.

Job Location: Southwest Glass of Houston - Houston, TX, Salary Range: Undisclosed, Southwest Glass, a residential, multi-family, commercial glass company is looking for a candidate to join the team! We are looking to hire an Installer to install in both residential and commercial units.

Duties

• Glass Cutting on-site and in shop
• Metal fabrication on-site
• Mirror installations
• Glass installations – Shower glass, cabinet & shelf glass, window replacement, tabletops, glass doors. Residential and commercial.
• Precisely measure for glass & mirror products (to be fabricated at our facility)
• Measure single and double pane windows
• Replacement window installations
• Install vinyl beading and glaze window with silicone
• Repair/replacement service, as needed
• Valid driver’s license a plus
• Glass experienced a plus
• Education Required: High School Diploma/GED

Physical Demands and Work Environment

This job requires intermittent periods during which continuous physical exertion is required such as walking, standing, stooping, and climbing.

Pay and Benefits

Pay range will be Based On Experience. Full – time with benefits.
