Job summary

Banko Overhead Doors LLC in Fort Myers, FL is seeking a skilled Garage Door Installer to join our growing team. You will install, repair, and maintain residential and commercial overhead doors and openers, working outdoors in a fast-paced environment.

During training, starting wage is $22 per hour, with room to advance as you gain experience. This full-time role offers competitive pay, benefits, and a culture that values reliability, teamwork, and quality workmanship.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Mechanically inclined with hands-on skillset.
• Ability to lift 70+ lbs and work outdoors.
• Valid driver's license with a clean 3-year MVR.
• Experience in garage doors, construction, framing, HVAC, or similar trades preferred.
• Ability to pass a pre-employment background check.

Responsibilities

• Install, repair, and maintain overhead garage doors and openers.
• Use carpentry, mechanical skills, and hand/power tools.
• Drive to job sites and complete assigned work orders.
• Inspect and ensure proper function of all mechanical/electronic components.
• Communicate with customers to provide excellent service.
• Document completed work and maintain parts inventory.
• Maintain a clean, safe work site and company vehicle.

ABOUT THE JOB

As a Garage Door Installer, you will install, repair, and maintain residential and commercial overhead garage doors and openers. This role is fast-paced, hands-on, and perfect for someone mechanically inclined who enjoys problem-solving and working outdoors. *Note: During training period all Installers start at $22/ hr *
