Job summary

CBX Solutions, LLC is hiring an installer to set up architectural doors, frames, and hardware onsite. You will work with the field supervisor and other installers to complete Division 8/10 projects, following manufacturer guidance and ensuring quality workmanship.

The role requires reading and using basic measuring tools, strong communication, and reliability. Training, safety, and equipment maintenance are part of the duties, with equal opportunity employment emphasized.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Some installation experience with doors, frames, and hardware products, or Division 10 products.
• Must pass pre-employment background check and drug test.

Responsibilities

• Follow instructions from field supervisor for installation of doors, frames, and hardware.
• Work independently and with others to install Division 8/10 products as assigned and trained.
• Install more technically advanced or demanding architectural grade products.
• Follow manufacturer directions and warranty requirements when installing products.
• Track time and materials for each installation project.
• Maintain all equipment in good working order and report malfunctions.

This position will involve the installation of architectural grade doors, frames, and hardware, to include toilet accessories, toilet partitions, lockers, and other Division 10 products.

Essential Functions

• Follows instructions from field supervisor regarding installation of doors, frames, and hardware, to include toilet accessories, toilet partitions, lockers, and other Division 10 materials
• Works independently and with other installers to install Division 8/10 products as assigned and trained
• Responsible for installation of more technically advanced or demanding architectural grade products
• Follows manufacturer direction and warranty requirements when installing products
• Tracks time and materials as required for each installation project
• Maintain all equipment in good working order and report any malfunctions to field supervisor
• Train entry level technicians on proper installation techniques and methods
• Follows all company policies and procedures
• Provides quality customer service
• Attends all training to learn new technology of building materials and installation methods as required by location management
• Other relative duties as assigned

Minimum Qualifications

• High School Diploma, or an equivalent combination of education/experience
• Some installation experience with doors, frames, and hardware products, or Division 10 products
• Must pass pre-employment background check and drug test

Knowledge, Skills And Abilities

• Ability to read and use a measuring tape, level and other required tools for installation required
• Excellent interpersonal skills required
• Excellent written and verbal skill required with the ability to communicate and understand detailed instructions
