Job summary

Specialty Appliance in Avon, CO is hiring a Helper to support installers with the installation of household appliances such as refrigerators, washers, dryers, and ovens. The role focuses on assisting the lead installer, preparing units, and ensuring quick, clean job sites.

You will also help with paperwork, inventory pulls, and loading or unloading trucks, while maintaining professional customer interactions. Some on-the-job training is provided and a valid driver's license is required.

Qualifications

• On-the-job technical training may be provided.
• Driver's license is required.
• Strong customer service and professional appearance.
• Ability to lift heavy objects (>100 lbs) and perform frequent bending.

Responsibilities

• Assist lead installer with appliance installs (refrigerators, washers, dryers, ovens).
• Prepare appliances as directed by lead installer.
• Help with job paperwork and input electronic tracking data.
• Clean the work space before leaving the job site.
• Pull orders for scheduled installs and assist loading/unloading trucks.
• Manage unloading/cleaning of trucks at end of day.
• Handle customer interactions professionally; direct questions to lead installer.
• Support warehouse duties and maintain organized stock.

Job description

• Assists Lead Installer with install of household appliances, such as refrigerators, washers, dryers, ovens, etc.

General Accountabilities

• Assisting install of household appliances such as washers, dryers, refrigerators, stoves, etc.
• Prepares appliances as directed by lead installer.
• Assists lead installer with job paperwork and input of electronic tracking data.
• Responsible for cleaning work space before departure of jobsite.
• Pulls Orders for the scheduled installs.
• Assists loading truck for daily installs and deliveries.
• Responsible for unloading and cleaning truck at the end of the work day.
• Respectful handling of the customer and customer information; directing customer questions to lead installer.
• Performs other related warehouse duties as assigned or requested by management.
• Responsible for warehouse organization.

Job Qualifications

• Technical training may be completed on-the-job.
• Driver's license required.
• Customer services skills and an ability to present oneself in a professional manner as a representative of the company.
• Able to lift heavy objects, above 100 lbs.
• Physically capable of frequent bending and lifting.

New Hire Bonus: $250 after 2 weeks, $250 after 6 weeks, and $500 after 3 months from DOH
