Responsibilities

• Plan and lead meaningful worship services, delivering biblically grounded sermons.
• Provide compassionate pastoral care, counseling, visitation, and care to congregation members and families.
• Moderate Session meetings and collaborate with elders, staff, and volunteers in planning and implementing ministries.
• Support faith formation, Bible study, and Christian education for all ages.
• Work with the Director to strengthen connections with families and encourage participation among youth.
• Identify, encourage, and equip congregation members to serve in ministry and leadership roles.
• Build relationships throughout Seymour and represent the church as an engaged community partner.
• Help strengthen connections with existing members, welcome visitors, and increase participation across generations.
