Job summary

Lifeway Mobility is seeking skilled Field Install Technicians in Louisville, KY to install and repair accessibility products such as wheelchair ramps, stair lifts, and ceiling lifts. You will use hands-on mechanical skills, lift up to 75lbs, and contribute to helping customers regain independence.

You'll receive a competitive pay rate of $24–$28 per hour, a comprehensive benefits package, a company truck, and opportunities for advancement, with training provided and a daytime Mon–Fri schedule.

Qualifications

• Hands-on mechanical experience in automotive, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, plumbing or installation environments.
• Ability to lift up to 75 lbs and work physically demanding tasks.
• Experience with mobility devices or medical equipment is a plus but not required.

Responsibilities

• Load the company vehicle each morning.

Lifeway Mobility, a leader in an accessibility solutions, is seeking skilled Field Install Technicians to join their team in Louisville, KY.

If you have any hands-on mechanical experience (automotive, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, plumbing, installation etc.) or any in-home installation experience (cable, appliance, etc.), and can lift up to 75lbs, this is your start to a fulfilling career! Experience with mobility devices or medical equipment is preferred but not required.

• Monday – Friday daytime schedule! Some overtime opportunities are available on Saturdays to earn more but are not required.

Essential duties and responsibilities:

• Pick up and load the company vehicle at our location each morning
• Install and repair accessibility products, including wheelchair ramps, stair lifts, and ceiling lifts
• Explain the project to the customer and answer any questions they may have
• Enter work order and inventory data into our system (basic computer skills required)
• Receive paid manufacturer training and hands-on learning to develop your skills
• Work independently or as part of a two-person team
• Jobs may range from a few hours to a few days—no overnight travel required
• Occasional Saturday overtime available
• All tools provided
