Job summary

Securitas Technology, a leading provider of integrated security solutions, seeks an Installation Technician III to install and configure intrusion, fire, CCTV and access control systems at customer sites. You will run wiring, perform testing, and coordinate with project leadership to meet contractual requirements.

The role requires 5+ years of field experience, multiple certifications, data center exposure, and a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience installing/servicing intrusion, fire alarm, access control and CCTV systems.
• 3 video certifications and 2 access control certifications.
• Data center experience is a plus.
• High school diploma or technical degree in electrical/security/computer systems preferred.
• Valid state driver’s license without restrictions.

Responsibilities

• Install and configure intrusion, fire, CCTV, and access control systems.
• Run electrical wiring in confined spaces, including drilling and trenching; perform aerial work.
• Test and troubleshoot installations to ensure functionality and code compliance.
• Coordinate with Team Lead or Project Manager on scheduling and equipment delivery.
• Maintain safety and cost guidelines while fostering positive customer relationships.

Title: Installation Technician IIIPosition Description:

We currently have an Installation Technician opening for team-oriented individuals possessing vocational training in electronics or electromechanical engineering. As an Installation Technician, you will be responsible for providing installation and configuration services on Securitas Technology products at customer sites. You will also handle special projects or tasks as they come up.

Responsibilities:

Install and configure intrusion, fire, CCTV, and access control systems. Run electrical wiring in confined spaces, including drilling, trenching, and aerial work. Complete system wiring and equipment setup to meet customer and contract requirements. Coordinate with Team Lead or Project Manager on scheduling and equipment delivery. Test and troubleshoot new installations to ensure functionality and code compliance. Maintain a professional appearance and adhere to safety and cost guidelines. Foster positive customer relationships and support contract retention. Handle proprietary information and documentation per company policies. Stay current with product and technology updates through ongoing training.

Requirements:

MUST HOLD a minimum of 5+ years of experience installing and/or servicing intrusion, fire alarm, access control, and CCTV security systems. 3 Video Certifications and 2 Access Control CertificationsExperience working in Data Centers a plus High School Diploma or equivalent Vocational/Technical Degree in electrical, security, or computer systems preferred Lenel, Pro-Watch, Software House, Picture Perfect certifications preferred Bosch, Honeywell, Radionics, or DMP system knowledge preferred IP Video and IT experience preferred Climb ladders that extend up to 24 ft. in height Carry items up to 75 pounds A valid state driver's license, without restrictions, is required.
