Promera is seeking a Foundation Technician to perform maintenance in technical, construction, and lab environments. You will follow approved methods to clean and maintain surfaces, floors, and fixtures in facilities, ensuring safety and high standards.

The role requires certification in aerial and scissor lifts, ladder safety, and OSHA 10, plus strong customer service and problem-solving skills. The environment includes ladders, lifts, and various cleaning systems, with up to 50% travel.

Responsabilidades

• Vacuum, sweep, mop, scrub, clean and chemically treat surfaces in technical or construction environments.
• Follow procedures for chemical cleaners and power equipment to protect floors and fixtures.
• Prepare cleaning solutions by mixing water, detergents or acids.
• Strip, seal, finish, and polish floors.
• Clean windows, mirrors and glass partitions.
• Steam clean or shampoo carpets.
• Dust furniture, walls, machines, or equipment.
• Move heavy items manually or with hand trucks.
• Follow safety rules and directions from senior staff.

The Foundation Technician performs maintenance functions in technical, construction, and laboratory environments using Promera approved methods.

What You’ll Work On

• Physically vacuum, sweep, mop, scrub, clean and chemically treat physical surfaces within a technical or construction work environment.
• Follow procedures for the use of chemical cleaners and power equipment to prevent damage to floors and fixtures.
• Mix water and detergents or acids in containers to prepare cleaning solutions; mix cleaning solutions according to specifications.
• Strip, seal, finish, and polish floors.
• Clean windows, glass partitions, mirrors, using soapy water or other cleaners.
• Steam clean or shampoo carpets.
• Dust furniture, walls, machines, or equipment.
• Move heavy furniture, equipment, or supplies, either manually or by using hand trucks.
• Responsible to use materials and equipment in a safe manner under the direction of senior technicians and supervisors.
• Completes work assignments efficiently, and professionally to Promera's and the customer's expectations.
• Assists fellow crew members in completion of assigned tasks.
• Responsible to follow all job requirements and safety rules.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Physical Demands

• While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear.
• The employee is regularly required to walk, stand, and sit for prolonged periods of time.
• The employee is frequently required to stoop, bend, kneel, climb, reach, twist, grasp, and make repetitive hand movements in the performance of daily duties.
• At times, employee is required to: work from ladders or vertical lifts; to lift or carry items weighing up to 50 lbs, push or pull heavy rolling loads; to operate assigned equipment and vehicles; and to verbally communicate to exchange information.
• Specific vision requirements include the ability to see at close range, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
• At times, may require more than 40 hours per week to perform the essential duties of the position.

Work Environment

• The position typically operates in a variety of commercial and industrial environments.
• The noise level is usually moderate.
• This position may regularly use the following: vacuum cleaners, towels, cleaning agents, floor buffer machines, ladders, flat mop systems, pullers, cover-all PPE, tacky rollers, specialty chemicals, and scissor lifts.
• The position is potentially exposed to moderate amounts of dust, grease, fumes, noxious odors, gases, mechanical and electrical hazards, and slippery floor surfaces
