Job summary

ETS-Lindgren is seeking an Installation Technician to join our global, team-oriented organization in Wood Dale, IL. You will install and assemble RF door assemblies and RF enclosures, ensuring quality and adherence to tolerances on diverse projects.

Ideal candidates have 3–5 years in construction/carpentry, strong communication, and the stamina for heavy lifting and extensive travel (domestic and possibly international). Join us to help test systems that power modern electronics.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required.
• 3–5 years experience in construction and carpentry.
• Extensive travel required—85%+ domestic and possibly international.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• PC skills and knowledge of Microsoft Office.
• Must be able to lift 50–75 pounds.
• Ability to read drawings.
• Be a team player who can also work independently.
• Security clearance a plus.

Responsibilities

Position Description

• Install/construct, layout, assemble, fabricate, fit, and adjust a variety of fairly complex projects such as RF door assemblies and fairly complex RF enclosures
• Ensure these projects meet construction tolerances following standard assembly methods by performing quality inspections and workmanship which meets company and customer standards as to structure, integrity, and appearance
• Responsible to complete reports such as expense reports, daily status reports, inspection reports, and other reports as required
• Complete work as well as pack and unpack crated manufactured materials at job sites

Minimum Requirements

• High School Diploma
• 3-5 years of experience in the trades including construction and carpentry
• Extensive travel is required for this position both domestic and possibly international (85+%)
• Excellent written and oral communications with strong attention to detail
• PC skills and proven knowledge of Microsoft Office
• Must be able to lift up to 50-75 pounds
• Problem solving skills
• Ability to read drawings
• Be a team player who can also be productive independently
• Security clearance a plus

Actual base salary offered to the selected applicant will be based on their work location, qualifications, job related skills, relevant education, and training experience.

Base hourly rate range Minimum $19.00 - Maximum $26.00
