Qualifications

• 3-5 years’ experience in storefront door installation or related industry.
• Must be at least 21 years old.
• AAADM certification within 6 months and maintained thereafter.
• Mechanical aptitude with electro-mechanical repair experience.
• Knowledge of basic electrical circuits and low-voltage wiring.
• Experience with glazing, storefronts, aluminum frames, and hardware (preferred).
• Valid driver’s license with good driving record.
• Strong commitment to safety, customer satisfaction, and teamwork.
• Ability to lift, bend, and use power tools.

Responsibilities

• Perform service and installation following manufacturers’ procedures and specs.
• Document time, issues, shortages, and on-site conditions with detailed notes.
• Work safely to prevent accidents for self, coworkers, contractors, and the public.
• Wear and maintain Personal Protective Equipment as required.
• Perform planned maintenance, break-fix, and upgrades of automated doors at customer locations.
• Diagnose issues involving electro-mechanical devices and relay logic.
• Work with aluminum framing, glazing materials, hardware, and low-voltage wiring.
• Maintain professional communication with customers and contractors.
• Participate in training programs and on-call rotations after certification.
