Job summary

Alliance Laundry Systems Distribution seeks an Installer to manage delivery, installation, start-up and operation of commercial laundry equipment in laundromats, hotels, hospitals, and multi-unit facilities. You will read blueprints, connect to electrical/plumbing/gas and test performance to ensure top quality handoff.

The role requires 3+ years of related repair experience, basic knowledge of electrical/HVAC, strong communication, and the ability to coordinate with contractors and train end

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• 3+ years of work experience in commercial, military, industrial or manufacturing equipment repair.
• Basic knowledge of electric, plumbing, and HVAC would be helpful.
• Experience with telephone and email/ticketing dispatch system-based customer support preferred.
• Proficient computer skills including MS Outlook, Word, and Excel.

Responsibilities

• Deliver, install, start-up, operate, and support equipment per company standards.
• Read and interpret blueprints, wiring diagrams, and manuals for correct installation.
• Connect equipment to electrical, plumbing, gas, and ventilation systems per codes.
• Level and anchor equipment; test installed units and troubleshoot issues before handoff.
• Coordinate with general contractors and facility staff on site logistics.
• Train end users on operation and basic maintenance.
• Complete installation documentation, inspection checklists, and warranty registration.
• Maintain company vehicle, tools, and parts inventory; escalate top issues to management.

Working closely with our Installation team, you will uphold Alliance Laundry Systems' quality standards, policies, and procedures to ensure every installation is completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest level of quality.ResponsibilitiesPerform the functions of equipment delivery, installation, start-up, operation, and other duties as required to ensure customer satisfaction following company standards, techniques, and safety requirementsInstall, configure, and commission commercial washers, dryers, and finishing equipment in laundromats, hotels, hospitals, and multi-unit residential facilitiesRead and interpret blueprints, wiring diagrams, and equipment manuals to ensure proper installationConnect equipment to electrical, plumbing, gas, and ventilation systems in compliance with local codes and manufacturer specificationsLevel and anchor equipment to floors and walls per safety and operational standardsTest installed equipment for proper operation and troubleshoot any issues prior to handoffCoordinate with general contractors, facility managers, and utility trades on job site logisticsTrain end users and facility staff on equipment operation and basic maintenanceComplete installation documentation, inspection checklists, and warranty registrationMaintain company vehicle, tools, and parts inventory in good working orderEffectively communicates top level escalations to Manager and contributes to best practices and process improvementQualificationsEducation & Experience:High School diploma or equivalent required3+ years of work experience working in commercial, military, industrial or manufacturing equipment repair preferred.Equivalent combination of education, training, and experience will be consideredBasic knowledge of electric, plumbing, and HVAC would be helpfulExperience in telephone and email/ticketing dispatch system-based customer support preferredProficient computer skills including using MS Outlook, Word, and Excel preferredSkills and Abilities:Strong Mechanical Acumen; Ability to identify, diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve mechanical and electrical issues.
